Ruby was a very sweet and peaceful (& old :) baby Jesus this weekend. Our whole family helped at the Step by Step Christmas party. Step by Step is an organization that helps underpriveledged and struggling mothers. Every Christmas they put on a big party for clients and their families. Ruby's role this year was to play the part of Jesus in the live nativity. I wish I had pictures that showed the whole scene--there were miniature horses, goats, doves, etc. My sister, Stephanie, was Mary, and Todd was Joseph. There were also angels and shepherds. What a fun way for our kids to experience the true reason for Christmas.
Thank you so, so much for coming and helping in such a way. It was so fun to be there together and a privilege to help bring the heart of Christmas to the evenings festivities! PS-did you know someone caught the exiting of the ponies in the church lobby on video and put it on youtube?!!
