This is an island off La'ie point, way at the northwest corner of the island. The middle was punched through by a tsunami.

Waimea Bay--possibly the prettiest water we've seen so far. In the background, you can see people jumping off the cliffs.

Eating lunch at Sharks Cove Grill in Waimea. It's really just a big truck that doesn't move. Across the street is Shark's Cove. It has rocks that go way out and lots of small tide pools and big ones for snorkeling in. Izy and I climbed out a ways and saw lots of fish, crabs and a big shrimp thing.

Shark's Cove is behind them.

Shaved Ice at the famous Matsumoto's in Haleiwa.
That sharks cove looks really fun! We're missing you all terribly. Lots of love -- Auntie Stephie
